I had a boss who was a total jerk, so I set up autocorrect on his machine to replace "Sincerely" with "I'm a Nazi pig f**ker. Unfortunately, I don't think he ever wrote a letter and signed it "Sincerely" after that, because I never heard anything about it. Pity.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8544609315733972726.post-69024647938838428612009-03-31T15:59:00.000-06:002009-03-31T15:59:00.000-06:00Thank you for these wonderful ideas! April fool’s day is one of my favorite, I always try to come up with something new. I try to switch who I target each year, it seems to keep everyone on their toes. Here are some of my favorite hoaxes that I draw inspiration from, you can vote on your favorite: http://www.toptentopten.com/topten/april+fools_+hoaxes+everVincetastichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09367800857300755203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8544609315733972726.post-74167903821540206192009-03-31T10:24:00.000-06:002009-03-31T10:24:00.000-06:00NOOOO! And as if the IT or user backups got the profile right.

OTH, this may a rare opportunity to get many folks to see that they CAN make changes, so maybe I'll call back my Tar and Feather party.

And if no one says, "Just Load the keyboard settings that have been Saved," I won't mention the Toolbar and Menu Reset buttons which oddly have no Save features that I have found.

(so I keep a few manual user profile copies in case something strange happens)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8544609315733972726.post-75717936778007802552009-03-31T07:30:00.000-06:002009-03-31T07:30:00.000-06:00Don't you have anything better to do with your tim...Don't you have anything better to do with your time?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8544609315733972726.post-15200170986852158292009-03-30T14:03:00.000-06:002009-03-30T14:03:00.000-06:00thank you for those inspiring ideas !it really got...thank you for those inspiring ideas !
it really got me do something useful for our school's OpenOffice install base.

i changed the "I Love Ponies" idea and used it to invoke a menu action instead of a keyboard accelerator.

i added a new menu item (on the Help menu) that opens up the Hebrew online wiki book (it is a tutorial and a help book). so students and teacher can get the latest Help in their own language directly from the Help menu.

thank you very much :-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07208886574695709938noreply@blogger.com
